Ok i was given the #8 and will play: 1. I was born in Philadelphia and raised in Atlantic City-before the casinos came..I had a great childhood and the South Jersey shore made me a beach bum-the beach is where I hope to retire! 2. I wore glasses from about 1 1/2 yrs old till 13...and have been talking since before I was 1 yrs old (..and haven stopped since lol) 3. I have 2 sisters (one older, one younger) 1 brother...and 5 stepbrothers and 1 stepsister -my parents have been remarried over 30 yrs and Im lucky to have 2 sets of awesome parents in my life. 4. My best friend and I met in 3rd grade-we may be hours apart but we have never lost touch! 5. My one talent is a good whistle - that my friend from #4 taught me! 6. I joined the army in 1989 and my first job on active duty was as a truck mechanic-I have had a few breaks in service but went back into the RI National Guard this year-in about 6 1/2 yrs I will receive my 20 yr letter-this has always been a dream of mine-to be able to say I served my country for 20 yrs 7. My first son passed away when he was 2 weeks old in 1995-while it was a horribly difficult time in my life it gave me a different strength to face life and who knew that 13 yrs later life would bring me Michael-a true angel and my best accomplishment! Love an laughter is what he brings me daily! My only dream is to be fortunate enough to be here on earth and see Michael grow up to be a wonderful man! He has never allowed his hearing issues to get in his way-and has a love of music and dancing that amazes me and makes friends easily with everyone! Im also proud that his father and i get along, respect one another and put Michael first 8. Thanks to hard work and a great group of coaches and friends at Crossfit Providence, Im in the (almost) best shape ever...proud of myself and will keep going as I still have fitness goals to meet! The past 4 yrs in RI have been an adjustment but im grateful for new friends, new experiences and what my future holds!
