Ok iPhone-ians, here are the specs of the iPhone 6 so far. Release - TopicsExpress

Ok iPhone-ians, here are the specs of the iPhone 6 so far. Release date late September. So, here we go Touch ID like the 5S. iOS8 will allow third party apps to use the sensor meaning new apps designed for the sensor. BUT, all information remains in the device. 13mpx camera, 2.2 aperture, 1080HD slo-mo capable, optical image stabilization, and a single true tone flash to replace the dual one found in the 5 and 5S. Personally, I like the smaller size of the image chip, means better picture and less compression than competitors. The lens system seems to be the same construction as the 5 and 5S. Will be running the A8 chip, faster and less power hungry than the A7, and half the size. 4.7 inch retina screen with a 416ppi resolution, and the biggie, virtually indestructible sapphire glass. Do a YouTube search for the glass, it is pretty impressive. Yes, they are going to make a 5.5 Phablet. Details can be found here jailbreakiosx/2014/03/iphone-6-will-two-sizes-4-7-5-5-inch-september.html It will be thinner, lighter, and more durable than any of the previous iPhones but with better battery life and much more power running iOS8. You can have a look at it here jailbreakiosx/2014/07/new-iphone-6-renders-apple-official-specifications.html As for iOS8, I have been using it since its beta release 2 months ago and it is pretty impressive. Beta 5 should be out Tuesday. Now remember folks, this info is not official, but has been taken from many reputable sources from across the internet and most of these sources where spot on with the 5, 5C and 5S, so I trust the sources. One last thing, if you are planning to upgrade, you have a little over a month to wait for the 6, so I would wait. I am anticipating the price to be the same as the 5S and I am also anticipating that AT&T will be implementing its buy back program for the 5S like they did with the 5. Meaning, they will give you the same money for the 5S as you will be spending on the 6 IF you are upgradable. I got $310 for my 32 gig 5 and my 32 gig 5S cost $299. Even if you dont sell back to AT&T, the 5S and 5 will still be demanding a good price on Craigslist. Again, the price is not firm, just going by the buzz on the net. The Sapphire glass costs a lot more to produce than previous screens, so the price may go up, but I would say not more than $50. Oh, and they will be available in silver, gold, and grey.
