Ok it is official: We have started building a the school (Junior High) in Tongwa village on the shore of Lake Tanganyika in Zambia Africa. The money made from auctioning the African Amber beads at the Cash OEMM Cache Valley Rendezvous was enough to build 3000 homemade blocks to start the school. But we still need more money to finish the school. If you would like to help please let me know. Here is a video I made that shows village life in Tongwa. In it you can see the other Grade School we built in 2007 out of stones. No one had ever gone to school when we built that one and now there are 12 students that have pass their test to enter start Junior High but there is no Junior High close to them on the Lake.
