Ok . . . let me just say that I dont post a lot on here, but I watch what everybody else posts. I believe in everybodys right to speak their opinion. So, heres mine. I have been a ticket holder since the beginning. I have also had Vols tickets for over 35 years. Needless to say, I have seen a lot of good football teams and Ive seen quite a few not so good teams. I can tolerate watching LOSING; Ive gotten used to that. You do your best and you get em the next game. What I REFUSE to accept is coming to the stadium and watching just flat-out BAD FOOTBALL!!!! Penalty after penalty after penalty; constantly getting into 1st and 15 or 1st and 25 or whatever, due to the same stupid penalty time and again by the same players over and over. Same dbs laying off receivers 10 yards on 3rd and 5 allowing easy completions for the other team to keep drives going. Loss of contain on the ends or up the middle of the defense. These are fundamental things that players should know before they get to this level. For heavens sake, guys, CLEAN THIS STUFF UP! Maybe if we do we can win a few more games before the season is over; at the very least, it will make watching the losses a lot more tolerable. Sorry for the rant, back to my corner now.
