Ok lets be serious. Bank of Zambia needs to be serious we cant keep using inflation as our ONLY target w/o unemployment targets...Its 2014.Who does that? Everyone knows what the inflation rate is but let me ask, what is the UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN Zambia? dont worry I will wait.............. ...............Cause no one knows WTF that ninja is. Zambia will not develop until we measure unemployment correctly. This style of saying 300,000 jobs been created is ancient and misleading.Is unemployment hard to measure? yes. Does that mean a central bank shouldnt target or approximate? No.The last time Zambia calculated unemployment was 2010, and that was because of the census. CSO cant just be calculating inflation are you freaking kidding me? The last Labour force survey was in 2008, this is 2014.How can you go for Half a decade with out measuring unemployment? I am not entirely sure whether it is due to laziness for calculations or the political convenience of misleading figures. So whenever I hear Government talking about creating Jobs and employment I have to fight the urge to laugh uncontrollably.What is the unemployment rate in Zambia? even the Government doesnt Know. If no one wants to calculate it then say it. I WILL VOLUNTEER as will many others. But as it stands now the Zambian Government telling the public they are creating employment with out measuring it is synonymous with a blind man telling other blind men he is pouring water to drink in the bucket when it clearly is a weave basket but he cant tell.
