Ok msc friends & family, Im not one to complain about much but something happened today at twister that was pretty personal to me, as well as my very close Moto family. A sweet little boy had his foot run over by a dirtbike... Riding in the pits. Not a big bike but a 50. Keep in mind he was there spectating, cheering for his family & friends. Neither him or his mom/family received an apology for what had happened, from the kid or his parents. Bottom line.... Thats one reason the rest of us are no longer allowed to pit ride at a majority of the tracks. Show your speed on the track & not in the pits. And if your child runs another over, throws rocks at spectators or participating in bad behavior, dont blame it on kids being kids. Blame it on yourselves. If my child is being a terror to anyone, I would very much appreciate a notification to set things straight. Please do not hesitate to come to my camper & inform me. Because unlike others I am not raising a little a$$hole for the rest of the world to deal with. And if anyone is pissed about the pit riding rules, next time take a look around your camps or pit areas & take note of those who have ruined it for others. Maybe even react & say something about the behaviors of others. Dont we all pay huge amounts of money to achieve the same thing or to at least have fun? What good does it do if it is ruined for us by a few bad apples? Lucky enough little man was not seriously injured & hopefully he still has the same glimmer in his eyes for motocross I have seen every single time he attends a race!!
