Ok my friend posted this a week ago...but just in case for those of you who didnt see it..im posting it again ;-) ;-) We are raising funds to help send our hula group to an amazing hula workshop that is put on by my Kumu Hula Mapuana De Silva from Kailua, Oahu. It will be held this year in Centennial, Colorado. Yes there is Hula in Idaho lol. Our group has been dancing together for over seven years now and we all want to be a part of this very rare opportunity to learn, experience, and embrace the teachings of traditional Hula, perpetuating Hawaiian culture through music, dance, history and language. We will be hosting a Co-Ed One Pitch Blind Draw Softball Tournament. This will be a one day event. All the proceeds will help to absorb the cost of travel, hotel and fees to attend this workshop. Everyone who pays to play will receive an entry into our raffle that will be held that day. Let’s keep this FUN and enjoy the games!! Please join us!!
