Ok need some help: We have two pugs Age 7 and 6. The 7 year old is really itchy. Like really itchy. The 6 year old is somewhat itchy but not nearly as much as the older one. Took them to the vet. We do frontline so I know its not fleas. The vet checked too. Diagnosis: Allergies. Andy (7) received a cortisone shot and Ozzie (6) was put on hydroxyzine bid to completion. Ozzie is doing ok, but Andy is still going nuts. We just changed their food back per my nephews recommendation that he got from someone thinking maybe that was causing it. And I just gave him a really good bath tonight and we brushed him for 1/2 hr and scratched him for 1/2 hr. Vet said after some snow it would subside. Not feeling so confident with that diagnosis. Is anyone else having this issue? They have NEVER had this problem before. Just started 6 weeks ago. Thanks! 🐶🐶
