Ok, news flash. I have, again, a sinus infection/upper respiratory infection. Ive had it for a week. (I thought I was supposed to stop getting those when I quit smoking... someone lied to me). Anyway, Im on anti-biotics, big old horse pills. And, this time, my doc put me on a specific probiotic as well. I have two things to say. 1) FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND GOOD - I LOVE bacteria! This whole take a pill and feel better in 24 hours thing (instead of the normal viral your sick till your not that I normally get) is amazing! I cant even believe how much better I feel 4 or 5 days into treatment than I did pretty much last week. I would like to request from the universe that from now on, all my sickness will be actually treatable. Are we cool with that Universe? 2) Probiotics are the BOMB! I have had none of the crazy anti-biotic related side effects I normally have when taking horse pills. No nausea, no vomiting, no dizziness, no (sorry boys) yeast infection, nothing. Its been amazing. All in all, Im pretty pumped at how this doctor thing worked out for me :)
