Ok.. next vent. I just got off of the phone (40 min conversation) with a guy in Texas looking into Lowline cattle. Said he had been on the ALR website flea market and had been talking to a few Lowline breeders trying to decide which direction he wanted to take. He must have gotten a hold of the wrong person that told him proudly that Fullblood weaning weights were around 250lbs at 6-7 months. WTH? People, it gets hard talking to perspective buyers (real cattlemen) and be very convincing about the breed when they are being told stuff like that. IF you dont know refer them to somebody that does please. Or at least know your caller and learn what they are trying to do before you start flapping your lips. Trying to sell a pet to a commercial producer is not good for the breed.. What say you?
