Ok oh learned ones. I gave the car a good going over with the owner. No rust in chassis bulk head or the wings. Firewall is rust free and footwells have some surface rust. The door frames have rust which will require some attention. Apparently clutch and flywheel has been replaced but needs new slave cylinder. She started no problems and idles well but sounds like a top loader dragster without exhaust. Fully sick the young bloke reckons. Apparently the motor has been reconditioned but the car has just moved from shed to shed. It comes with a ute roof which allows access to the rear thru cabin. No leaks from motor but both diffs require pinion seals and TC needs new gasket and input shaft seal. He also has original seats. The drivetrain and engine looks good and no rust. All linkages appear ok and selectors are moving freely. It has a gravity fed water tank and tow bar. Down to the business end. He wont accept less than $1300. With a couple of grand spent shell be sweet. So I guess Ill just have to buy it. Heres a few more picks and Ill upload vid of engine startup later.
