Ok on to my Drummer/Drumming pet peeve. I must preface this so as not to confuse anyone, I am only referring to Rock Drummers only - not speed metal, thrash metal, death metal, jazz, or any genre that requires intense focus on every beat played - standard Rock Drummers including pop rock, country rock, top 40 etc... My pet peeve is Rock Drummers that just sit there and play their drums as if they are bored and/or just going through the motions. To be in a band and play in front of people is also about entertainment; quit being boring and start putting a show together; stick twirls, stick flips, stick tosses, stand up, sit down, bang your head a little bit, make it fun and entertaining for those in attendance. Did I mention that when you just sit there and play with your head down the entire show it is BORING... Love you all - Have at it...
