Ok one of my brothers in arms asked for info on how I made the daggers, so here are few better pics and Ill give a quick explanation. If anyone needs or wants more info feel free to contact me. Ok the dagger is 18 long overall with 11 of that being blade including the thrusting tip. For the cross guard I used 3/8 rubber fuel hose. I folded it over as the one pic shows, and notched it to fit tighter around the handle. I shaved the handle portion down to around 1 in diameter. I then taped the hose to the rattan using strapping tape in a figure 8 pattern as well as wrapping the blade and handle with strapping tape as you would a normal rattan sword. I then taped the blade and cross guard with duct tape. I then built up the spiral grip and butt with hockey stick grip tape. I used black tape to mark the thrusting tip and added cutting edges. I then covered the cross guards and handle with 2 layers of grip tape and poof a dagger is born.
