Ok onwards we go, the next lot that have been PASSPORTED from Southern Ireland and are looking to be sponsored to get there new life in UK and some we will take from North that dont need passports (I know crazy eh!!) If you would like to sponsor these dogs passports please PayPal £25 to PayPal dorsetdogrescue@gmail or Barclays 20-68-79. 63651096 can you comment on their photos sponsored. So we feel transparency is the key so for 5 th year running we will be posting our annual vets bills with annual statement in January for all to see lets see any other rescues follow as havent seen any follow us yet in doing this. Also we havent upped the adoption donation it is still a max of £200 that includes all vaccinations, health checks, microchips, flea, wormers, 2 weeks vet cover, 4 weeks free insurance, neuter vouchers if needed and life time support. Then add the £40-£65 transport cost from Ireland/Wales plus food, vet treatment ext. Then we have the dogs like Belle and Charlie that are with us over 6 months as they need feeding and care and the over 7s that go free then the vets bills for life scheme and thats not cheap but they deserve us as much as the youngsters. Then we have the 2 vans and car plus insurances, phones, 1 paid member of staff. Then we have all the special ops for example dominos whose op was £1000 yet get £175 donation that £880 deficit needs to be found. Accounts will be online with charity commission for public view, no fancy cars, vans, kennels just 40 outstanding familys taking these dogs in. The annual vets bills still scare the crap out of me but am proud my team provide this exceptional level of treatment for DDR dogs and we have the best book keeper and accountant who are helping us, you cant argue with black and white facts so lets compare across you UK RESCUE our vets bill as I said transparency ;-) Lets go save some dogs xx
