Ok....opinions on this topic. Voter ID laws The basic history is that certain states were notorious for taking certain actions to suppress the vote of certain demographic groups. Laws were passed to require that any changes to those particular states elections had to be approved by the fed govt. Recently, the Supreme Court struck down that provision of the law. Now, some of those states (and others) are changing their laws, requiring photo identification to verify that you are who you are. Some say this is to inject voter integrity into a system that has seen some cases of fraud. Others say this is to suppress the voices of some who may have difficulty getting an ID. What are your thoughts? Are you for ID requirements? Against them? Have an interesting perspective? Please share!
