Ok people! The First Annual Thistle 5-A-Side World Cup at Coleman Park is 3 Sundays away and we need to finalize how many nations will contest this prestigious trophy! We are looking for 8 teams to make a nice even number for a round robin tournament. So far we have The Faroes, Djibouti, Vatican City, England and Germany locked in meaning there is spots for at least 3 more sides (maximum 6 players each). Spread the word! Its a day of fun in (hopefully) the sun, a chance for a run around and to share a BBQ lunch and refreshments with friends and club-mates alike. $10 entry per player including lunch. Spectators or friendly opposition welcome with full Kiosk/BBQ facilities on offer! We will also be showing Melbourne vs Parramatta at 2pm, followed by the Gold Coast hosting St George Illawarra at 4.
