Ok people, here are the plans for this weekend, if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch, if not I will see you bright and breezy on Saturday morning!!! We are leaving Kelso at 8.30 on Saturday, piped out by Gavin Horsburgh. The support cars will be in the Square from 8 so that you can put your overnight bag and anything else in (remember there are 42 people staying, taking a large suitcase is maybe not a good idea!) We are having photographs taken before we leave to send to the Southern. In your backpack you should take, water/juice sweets fruit etc also a rain jacket if you want to, we are stopping for lunch at Cornhill Village Shop so you wont need lunch unless you want to take it. Also sunglasses hat suncream might be a good idea given the weather. The cars will be available at several points on the way so you can always swap around. In your overnight bag you will need, toiletries, change of clothes for going out for tea (if you want to change) sleepwear towel (these are available to hire at the youth hostel for £2) and any water/juice/sweets you want to bring back with you on the Sunday. Tea is pre-ordered at Limoncello on Hide Hill in Berwick which is not too far to walk from the Youth Hostel. We are booked for 8.30 so hopefully we will have time to relax/shower before tea/ On return to Kelso on Sunday there is a buffet available at the Black Swan for £5 per head. I would love it if as many as possible could join us but totally understand if you would rather go home. Friends/Family are also welcome to join us there. I cant thank you enough in advance for supporting us on this journey. I am sure it will be an emotional one and I am definitely will be adding tissues to my bag. Lets hope for good weather, maybe not too hot and not too wet and lets hope for not too many aches and pains after.
