Ok people, no one is talking about this and Ive found very little info on the Internet in regard to it. Next year the Senate will be writing a bill that prevents kids from owning/ using cellphones under the age of 12. It is speculated that the outcome will result in exorbitant fines at the cost of the parent, if charged with such offense. The real offense here is who will be paying for it. It will be funded from our own tax payer pockets, and this is unacceptable. I believe this is an aleieviation of responsibility of the manufacturer(s), while placing blame on the consumer. It is true that this goes back to good parenting, but also proper implementation of financial responsibility. If you see this bill, think carefully about how it should be funded. You already sign a terms and agreement for a cellphone contract, why not sign off on the dangers of the ecology in relation to the mind in young children. They should also be funding an information center for all parents while releasing the regulated studies of such damaging effects on our youth.
