Ok, rant for the day.....I got called for jury duty.....oh I can see this happening with my asthma, severe COPD, coughing up the only lung I have left, and being incontinent at the same time, and OH by the way I have to leave to do a breathing treatment, all this IF I manage to get from the parking garage to the court room without doing a face plant, they called me on my cell phone at 9 in the morning.....I went to bed at 6 that morning, so had to jump in my jammies an run outside so she could hear me, metal roofs block phone signals....so Im gasping by the time I get out there, and there like wondering whats wrong, I had already left them a message as to why I sound like this, and asked to be excused, nope YOU have to have a note from your Dr......Im 69 years old been on my own since I was 16, an its been a very long time since Ive had to have a NOTE excusing my absence from anything.....BUT to threaten me with Jail for non compliance......well I almost went for it just because I felt like shocking the hell outta my kids by calling them from Jail.......ok so I dropped off the paperwork at my Drs wheezing an panting theyre going to have him write me an excuse, one Ill probably get charged for........I love my life :)
