Ok... real shit... Im tired of hearing about racist commercial this, racist statement that, when fried chicken is involved for black history month. My homegirls daughter goes to a school that presented a fried chicken lunch in honor of Black History month. Many parents yelled racism. A KFC commercial honoring black history month features an African American Man overseas being comforted by a meal involving fried chicken. Another cry of racism. Come on black folk.. quit freakin crying. Do you realize that we have the shortest month in the year to celebrate black history? How about using that time youre wasting complaining, to educate our children, mend African American black families, encourage the rise from poverty, and most of all break the invisible chain our people have held on to. Hell, I as a black man who cooked for the better part of 7 years in a casino setting i know that 99% of black celebrations are catered with FRIED CHICKEN on the menu... and please, lets not forget, the Kentucky Fried Chickens founder was WHITE. Quit thinking so freaking hard on who is trying to insult you and put that energy into our urban youth.
