Ok....second and third day done. Second day flew to Cusco and checked in. Went to Plaza de Armas and took a bunch of pics and toured 1 museum. Took a cab to Sacsayhuaman and the cabby kept saying stuff about 4 things for 40 neuvo sols. We tried to explain we only wanted the one. No luck so we left him and went in. Found out the 1 tour was 70 sols. Turned around. Luckily the cabby was waiting for us with a big grin and the language barrier was broken. We took a cab tour of all four sites for 40 and took pics from the road. Went to an english pub and then to bed. Day 3 is where it got interesting. 8am pickup for Sacred Valley tour. Stopped at a llama and alpaca sanctuary and saw Pisac which was our first actual ruin up in the mountains. Very nice. Then off to the market for shopping and lunch until a flat tire set us back. Went shopping for a bit. Got a knife and Melissa Anderson got a sweater. Tires fixed and on our way to lunch. Amazing restaurant on the river then off to Ollantaytambo (Sun Temple) with the infamous 12ft high stones at the top of the mountain. Skipped the last tour as it was a 1600AD church which is not inca in the slightest. Off to our inca trail info session (1hr late) got the gist, had some bad food (Melissa ordered a cheeseburger with only ketchup and received a bun, cheese and a tomato.) Took a cab back to the hotel but kept going in circles so we got out and had to pay 20 sols (ripped off). Got across the street and realized my wallet was not In my shorts carrying all of our money and bank cards. Uh oh. Ran faster in sandals than i ever thought I could after the cab down the street but was nowhere to be found....uh oh. Walked back to the place we got out and it was on the street. OMFG! Walked back to hotel. Start inca trail hike at 5am tomorrow. Talk to you all in 5 days! Buenos noches!
