Ok...so CXC results are out, and so a few thousand students await their fate and the next step in life. Of recent the % pass in math has hovered around 30%...Im yet to know what it is this year. Truth is, and like Ive said to my students before, Not everyone of you will get to go to college, maybe some due to financial constraints, most due to dismal grades. In fact a small percentage will...and even then those who do still struggle thereafter to get a job. Things are ROUGH...well if you keep telling yourself so. Its sad that the system isnt designed to prepare you for those circumstances, but that means its all up to YOU to create the opportunities for yourselves. Everyone is blessed with skills and abilities. Look within yourself, and find out how can I use my skills to create employment for myself, so that I am less dependent on parents, government or anybody else. The world needs the next big inventor, clothes designer, seamstress, artist, actor, sales person, carpenter, sports personnel and the list goes on. With that said I applaud those who have excelled, those who havent, it isnt the end of the road. Use your God given talents to excel, and dont become a bum the rest of your life. Keep your head focussed and keep pressing on. #OneLove
