Ok so Dr Anderson just came by and talked with us. Hes very thorough so it took awhile. Said he looked at Echo today and its showing 20-25% EF. Says we will have official report tomoro afternoon. Hes scheduling her for a heart Cath Monday morning to see if she has any blockages. If they do find some they will attempt to open with stents. If they find blockages too bad to fix with stents, they will do open heart surgery. As bad as that sounds, at least she wud have good chance of recovery in few weeks to a month. However, if there is no blockages and that wud mean her heart failure wud likely be permanent. She wud always be this tired. They wud put her on meds to try to increase function of heart for few weeks and then likely do surgery to place an internal defibrillator that wud keep her heart from goin into a deadly rhythm. But she wud not get better. So as weird as it sounds Im praying for a blockage that can be fixed. Also he said her cholesterol level is nearly twice what it Shud be. Puttin her on meds for that now. Dr Davenport will do Heart Cath Monday but do not know exact time yet. Likely early he said. Giving her heart medicines to lowers her heart rate and decrease the stress on her heart for now. Wants to keep her relaxed and rested for the weekend. Please say a prayer for my Mom. And please pray for my Dad as well...this is finally startin to get him down.
