Ok so, I am wondering if this man even knows that he is absolutely in ERROR! Samuel said to Saul.....Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of divination, And insubordination is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He has also rejected you from being king. It is clear that Samuel was admonishing Saul to consider his reasons for the sacrifices he was making. Saul made sacrifices, however, he was blatant in his disobedience to God! He had REBELLED against GOD!!!! So is 1 Samuel 15:23 talking about a leader? ABSOLUTELY NOT! And then he goes to Exodus 22:18 which says, Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live So is he saying that one who rebels against a leader is a witch and they should be put to death? Does he NOT understand that he has mixed to scriptures together to manipulate? Well, he did!!!! How is THEE world is one who has been deemed to be in rebellion towards a leader practicing witchcraft? I mean, have they invoked some evil powers against a leader? Because one has decided that they are no longer going to be part of errant teaching and or lies, teaming up with satan? ABSOLUTELY NOT! They have simply decided to stop idolizing the leader and team up with God and HIS righteousness!
