Ok so I contacted R&R about the race pack pick ups... This is the reply I got.. They seem to b very strict! Hi Eimear, Thank you for your e-mail. In certain circumstances we will allow packet pick-up on the morning of the race. We do not advertise this because we need participants to pick up their packets at the expo, unless they absolutely cannot. The expo will be open Saturday, 2 August, 11:00-17:00, and Sunday, 3 August, 11:00-17:00. Please make every effort possible to make it to the expo, but if you are unable to, we will have a Solutions tent/Help Desk located at the start line area race morning. It will be open 2 hours prior to the start time and you may pick up your bib number there. This is an exception were making for cases like yours and is unadvertised to alleviate the possibility of long lines on race morning. Please be sure to bring a photo I.D. and your confirmation sheet to the expo or to the Solutions tent. Due to security concerns, we prefer that participants pick up their own bib number at the Solutions tent on race morning instead of allowing a friend to pick up. However, if the participants signed confirmation sheet (available to download from our website- iepetitor/dublin/confirmation) and a copy of their photo ID is brought to the Solutions Help Desk at the Expo by another participant, we will make an exception.
