Ok so I cut the timber in the ceiling to expose the pipe that is leaking the hole is smaller than the width of a pencil. Its a 3 copper pipe which is only 1/2 inch wide between a 45 that goes to the shower drain and a Y piece that connects to it and goes up to the toilet drain. There is no way to remove it without tearing out the ceiling and wall. I would like to hear recommendations on fixing it. I m thinking silicone or epoxy or maybe even putting some solder on the pipe to fill it in. I was gonna put a hose clamp around it with a piece of rubber but I cant really get it into place with the wood that is above it???
