Ok .. so I go into our local DMV to renew my Arky DL and the woman behind the counter asks if I still want to be an organ donor, she asks me to read a line in the vision check thing-a-ma-jig .. then she asks if I want to register to vote? Whats up with this .. I came here to renew my Arky DL? I say no .. so she takes my money and has me go sit and look straight into the camera lens. She takes my pic .. might be better than my FB profile pic. she says look at the screen next to it on the counter. Up comes a statement which says basically .. that I am giving valid information .. then it shows another statement .. I agree to not txt and drive .. and finally I have chosen not to register to vote. Now I sign my name .. then she prints out my Arky DL .. and soon I get it. It says Im an organ donor. It says I need glasses. It doesnt say I have chosen not to vote. Is the new Drivers License going to be the method where they check to see if you are registered to vote?
