Ok so I got a little rant that I feel the need to let out the mini series the Bible came out and Christians complained because it didnt follow their theology. Son of God came out once again Christians complain. Noah comes out and same thing even though the makers of Noah tell you to read the biblical account. My problem with this is that what if this is the only glimpse of Jesus that none believers will see? These movies are not made to give the whole story just a summarized version to spark interest and get people to say wow is that really went down and read the account for themselves. I was upset with some things I saw in the Bible series until I spoke with a friends husband that would not go to church and he had that reaction. He saw the story of Jesus walking on water through the storm and was blown away he said he had to read the story for himself to see if that was really what happened. I immediately felt horrible for not having the faith that my God the creator of the universe could use these movies to his advantage no matter the circumstances. There are so many different theologies on what the Bible means out there that I feel they are becoming like religions. I dont need religion I need Jesus as cliche as that sounds so I take the Bible for what it says I dont need to know the deep meaning of certain words or the Greek or Hebrew translation God created the world in Seven days I dont care if it was His days or my days He created it thats what it says thats what I believe I have faith. I screw up ALOT I try not to but I am human it happens but I have faith God knew I would so He sent His son to die for me so that I could be perfect one day for Him. Do I agree with everything in these movies? No am I going to take to social media and condem them saying no one should see them? Absolutely not because if I truly believe that my God is in control who am I to turn anyone away from a chance to meet Him? Am I wrong for this way of thinking? Maybe but once again I am human and make mistakes but I have a loving savior who will forgive me. God is not dead he will use all things for His advantage love you all and God bless......end rant
