Ok...so, I have a solution to poverty (which could minimize crime)...wanna hear it? How about the 1% (of the wealthiest people in America), namely corporations & their CEOs be forced to give massive amounts of money (taxes perhaps?), to end poverty...while maintaining their businesses (continuing to generate their profits & remain wealthy)...in order to end the NEED to simply SURVIVE & the criminal behavior that accompanies survival...along with that, decriminalize/destigmatize mental illness/drug use & *certain* other crimes, so that future prosperity isnt stifled by criminal records (after one is sober &/or has paid their debt to society), so that poverty & survival isnt all that their future will consist of. Too much to ask? #godspeed
