Ok so I have an update for everyone on Rebekah. I want to be clear about this. This is not my favorite update at all. This morning Rebekah was not doing well with her breathing and needed to have the oxygen turned up a little. Rebekahs PDA vessel may not still be closed. She will be having another echo done today to see if that is the case. If it is they may have to do minor surgery to snip at it until it closes. With it not being closed it could have a lot to do with her breathing patterns and hopefully she will be on a much better pattern of breathing. Also Jody meet with one of her doctors this morning. Rebekah was able to complete the MRI last night. However the MRI does show an injury to the brain. What the cause is, we not sure. It could be a lack of oxygen, or something else. The doctor explained that she could have some mental development issues. What that means is, we have no idea. She will be seeing a very special pediatric doctor very frequently to help us understand what we are facing. Also a bit of okay news is the thing on her nose can be treated pretty easily. But she will not have a regular looking nose when the process is complete. At the moment the information is just a little hard to consume. However we have always trusted in the Lord to take care of our needs. We will continue to do so now. Please we ask again to pray with us and for us.
