Ok, so I have seen all this about FB Messenger for your phone, and its invasive terms of service and all that. I found a really nice article from the AP about it, which I think pretty much covers why I do have Messenger on my phone, why I will keep Messenger on my phone, and why Im not becoming one of the torch-wielding masses against it. 1. So no, I dont think that Facebook is listening to my life through my microphone on my phone. Even if they did, all they are gonna hear is me cursing a lot when I drive, making up horribly lewd and inappropriate lyrics when I sing along to songs in the car, farting loudly and snoring a lot. 2. If they are watching me through my camera, they will see the inside of my pocket a lot (which I imagine to be pretty boring), my finger because that is just where my finger goes when I hold my phone, or the top of my nightstand. 3. I have unlimited SMS, so let it send all the messages it wants.
