Ok, so I just had to say a BIG THANKYOU to everyone who came bearing gifts, drinks, appetizers, salads, cookies, candies and desserts to our Christmas party Saturday.Everything was amazing : ) And to all those who asked about the Turkey root vegetable, Beef Shepherds pies and caprese pasta dishes, NO they were not catered and YES I did make them myself with all Dons help chopping : ) So if anyone still wants the recipes, just pm me and I can fill you in : ) To our fabulous band with Renee Safier, Andy Hill, Marty Rifkin and Kirk Makin you were more incredible than I ever remember, haha, no seriously - WOW - and Renee you gave me goose bumps with your acapella rendition of Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Thankyou so much for that,so many memories of Christmass long ago sprang to mind with some family that are no longer with us - just wish my mother could have heard you sing this : ( It was a magical evening, we will not forget in a hurry !! A great party, with great friends, rocking the dance floor, just wish we could have heard more !! Thanks to all our photographers for sharing some great memories and to all that helped with making this party happen. Stephanie Trammer, all your help in the kitchen and making sure everyone was fed allowed us to finally relax, mingle and enjoy a wonderful evening. Thankyou so much !! Oh and thankyou to everyone who donated blankets and towels for Carson Shelter and Second Chance Rescue, this is wonderful, more pups will stay warm this winter : ) Heres wishing each and everyone one of you a wonderful holiday season, whether youre celebrating Christmas or Hannukah, and lastly may your New Year be bright and healthy : ) See you all by, or in 2015 Jean and Don xo
