Ok so I might hear some shit about this but this is my opinion and the last thing Im going to post about the whole ferguson fiasco. 1. I do not believe the issue was a race issue to begin with and was simply a lack of training/police brutality issue. Excessive force to say the least and he should be held responsible for what hes done and not making money to go on national tv for interviews where he shows absolutely no remorse. Police have become more militarized and almost seem as theyre being trained to shoot first ask questions later. This is the real issue that needs to be address and is beyond the racial boundaries. Now on to the race issue. It has become a race issue on both sides of the fence. Whites have become defensive and rightfully so but because of this defensiveness they feel the need to justify peoples actions instead of holding them accountable. Pretending that a race issue or that any kind of privilege doesnt exist is not the answer. It exist and is still a very real problem in this country whether you want to be in denial or not about it. Secondly the same thing goes for the other side of the fence. Making everything a race issue even though sometimes its not is not helping your cause, neither is rioting, destroying private property or ganging up on people of other races to fulfill your rage about the issues. Racism exist in every race and creed and the only way its ever going to get better is if people choose to accept that its a problem and work together to educate people and push past the stereotypes and hatred.
