Ok so I think Im getting it!! Finally! I hope this sticks in my brain. Lol If we spend every day hoping for something better, something more, something different most likely we are not truly appreciating the moment we are in. In a life of rush or constantly looking way out in the future we forget to breath. Take a pause look around and see how beautiful life is right now! My boys are growing at a rapid speed and the pace is hard to keep up with. Moments are fleeting but when we are given the grace to see them for what they are. Loving every moment we are in, right now, I find myself in peace. I marvel in this moment. Moments can be cherished when we look at them instead of looking over in the distance. My heart is heavy today for those who may not have this peace in their lives. Dont listen to the lies that life would be better if... There is so much to be grateful for when we take a moment to see it. The family we have, the food we have on the table, the home we have wether it is big or small, the list goes on and on. We are so very blessed. See things for what they are instead of what you think they should be. What they should be is all a lie, because wherever you go there you are. We are exactly where we are supposed to be right now! Isaiah 55: 8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. His desire is that we shall know Him and be richly blessed with what He has given us today. To know that we are LOVED by HIM. The God who is LOVE, and we are His precious children. Death could not even stop His LOVE for us. We are the children of the Creator of the Universe!! How amazing is that!! To know this, recognize it, and cherish this is true peace ;-)
