Ok, so I want to sign up and do a Go Ruck for my birthday in March. With that in mind, I am trying to find out from anyone that has done an event, if you know where I can get my hands on a 25-30 lb metal plate. I dont mean a lifting plate that is round but rather a flat metal plate. Sure you can use a sand bag or bricks, but a metal plate can be packed towards the back of the ruck, is relatively thin thus keeping the weight closer to your body w/ better weight distribution than bricks. My goal as I just announced to my family is that this will be Family Time for us and something different for us rather than just sitting around eating cake at another birthday party. Best part, is that it just so happens that there is such an event on my birthday in Baltimore. Im telling you, it is meant to be!
