Ok, so I was thinking, there are certain songs that I tend to listen to when I am feeling a certain way. I dont think that I concisely chose to listen to the songs, I think that my very being hungers for the familiarity and sympathetic emotion inherent in the individual song. As a for instance, I can tell you that when I am feeling down about life in general I find myself listening to the song The Future of Speech by Katatonia. The song reminds me that I am not alone in the way I feel, and that it could always be worse. There are also songs that I subconsciously attach to other emotions as well.
