Ok so I went to the dump here in Aniak last week, and almost ran off the road when I seen this disgusting and pathetic sight. WASTED MOOSE MEAT AND BONES! This is f*cken sick (pardon my language), but when I see waste like this it makes me furious! There are LOTS of people I know who would have happily taken this meat and these bones to feed their families! This is NOT subsistence, this is pure laziness and disrespect to the animal whos life you took, the land that feeds us, and to those of us who try to utilize every part of the moose and its meat and bones. If you want to hunt, take care of your meat! Hunting is not a sport or a game, its how we feed our families. Hunting and taking an animal that gives itself to you is the easy part, taking care of the meat and bones is where the REAL WORK comes in. IF YOU CANT do that, then dont hunt! AC will gladly keep its shelves stocked with Banquet Chicken for you.
