Ok so Im going to get on my little soapbox for a minute. Theres been a lot of talk and attention being put on the CIA torture report. Now I am no political annalist, nor a lawyer, or even a CIA agent, obviously. But I am an American citizen who pays taxes and lives in this great country. Do I need to, or want to know what all goes in the shadows of the world to keep our nation safe? No. But I do know one thing; if aggressive interrogation, or even certain forms of punishment saved lives of Americans, than those people in the Agency have done their jobs. If I remember correctly this has actually been proven and I can absolutely guarantee you there is much more that hasnt been reported. Just imagine the panic that would set in, if we knew a second 9/11 was about to happen, or even worse, a nuclear bomb go off. These men and women keep our lives safe in ways and from people we should never hear of. And if people want to still press this issue calling it inhumane, please explain to me how drone missiles are anymore excusable? B/c thats exactly how this pathetic excuse of an administration is approaching this. I love this country, I believe in the Constitution, and I am willing to die to keep this country safe, thats one reason I joined the Marines, but by God these people are wanting to destroy it and its considered trivial by too many. I want to make a difference in the great nation, and I hope and wish many of you do too.
