Ok so Im not really a girly girl in some ways. For instance, I have never put nail polish on in my life. Ever. Well, until Id had two glasses of wine tonight. Then…OH HO then….the fluorescent orange Barry M nail polish came out (the only one I own). How hard can it be?! I mean really. It comes with a brush, just like a tester pot of paint. I can strip an SA80 in mere seconds, I can clean and replace brake pads, discs and callipers on my car and fix the ABS wiring. I can do a bare metal restore on a T25 and I can cook a five course meal while entraining a hyperactive child and even help with lambing . So really, Barry M nail polish, come at me. 20 minutes later and my left hand looks ok. Kinda like Ive been finger painting with my 5 year old, but whatever. I only got it on my cream duvet twice and the floor once. Im on my 3rd glass of wine and this is looking pretty good so far. Ive seen those beauty therapists at college. They aint got nuthin on me. As the day-glo nail polish is drying I realise I now have to paint my right hand. Im right handed. Screw it. Ive done so well so far. I carefully start on my nails, tongue out for added concentration. A few tense minutes pass. Hmmm I gingerly pick up the phone to text my best mate. Please bring nail polish remover. STAT. I wonder, does nail polish remover get it off your face?
