Ok so Im three months ahead but at the same time Im three months behind keeping up with the action with social media. Let me give everyone a sneak peek behind the scenes, uncensored action. Rewinding to summer 2013, in May I was doing my usual summer moves like hanging out, playing ball, enjoying the beach and catching girls by the pound lol. That same time last year in 2012 all of that fun came to an ending for me where I thought my life was over. One night I remember my right side of leg itching terribly for some odd reason and this aint no regular scratch and go away itch, this the type of itch that when you scratch it the itching spreads and starts to make you go nuts. Anyways I put some anti itch relief cream but it was useless because it wasnt strong enough to relieve the itching pain. That night I slept rubbing my legs so hard I probably couldve set my whole bed ablaze with the amount of heat capacity enclosed between my sheets and body. I thought my hair follicles were about to fall off and skin ready to melt. But it didnt worry until i fell into a deep sleep and the next morning in the same spot on my right leg had formed into a blood clot. I have never been so scared in my life, my initial reaction was to pop and let the fluid release but i was scared to even touch it. You compare it to the size of a baby infants head that was about to grow out. I slowly climbed out my bed by had trouble walking, I was the only one home and my dad was at work. My ultimatum was to call 911, the ambulance came to my house and told them my situation and they rolled me out on the stretcher. I spent five in the hospital everyday different doctors approaching me doing every damn test on my body, asking me all types of questions trying to figure out what is going on like I know. I said just make that I live thats all I ask for. they would chuckle when i said that. I had my surgery done and the blood clot was removed the doctors finally told me that it was mucus and other stuff that kept on building up in my body eventually extracted itself. They told me I was not even supposed to be alive. But now here I am a year later as a living testimony still facing challenges, trials and tribulations but the will of God always interrupts to save you. Fast forwarding now to June of this my the moment of clarity go to me. gI graduated with an Associates Degree having a 3.0 GPA. After dropping out of a four year university to a two year dropping out of two then ending up at TCI College was an accomplishment. That phase is done and a new chapter to embark on now it the time to get a job but there hardly any jobs that would hire someone with a two year degree. My inner ambition was pushing me to attain a bachelors degree. Its not an easy task but why not go for it. The whole summer I was job seeking to save money for my new school and thank God for networking because it sure does come in handy a good friend of mine put me on to a job at JFK airport was it close to where i had lived in new york. Crazy thing is I applied in March and began working in May the way how the airport system is setup is much more serious than working a non government job I had to get approved by numerous amount of government agencies before I can start my position and mind you Im only getting paid minimum wage. My friend who put me on said thats what they do with every employee. Training began and it was two weeks. I sent my transcript to Norfolk State University being the fact that I wanted to attend an HBCU but not go to far down south . I was over and done with New York and its bullshit. The semester commenced in August so that meant that I would only have two months of worth of making money and I worked as hard as I possibly can during the period for a company called ASIG. My position was stated as a Ground Serive Agent which means I work outside the terminal doing all the dirty work which comprises of lifting bags/cargo. Being a wingman directing the plane to the runway for takeoff, using machinery to carry cargo to and from baggage area etc. Its definitely a lot of work I know people that got hurt like myself no matter how careful you are you will still get hurt. One day I came to a letter from the school I applied to saying I got accepted and I turned into a jumping bean aint nothing was stopping from celebrating. I quit my and took me, myself and my talents to Norfolk State University located in Norfolk, VA. The vibe is great here getting involved into activities like the basketball team program, my school is in the MEAC conference so be on the lookout for us in the NCAA tournament. Im considering the fraternity being its an HBCU. S/O to all those who went to an HBCU. Also be alert for my vlog soon on youtube and here as well since my major is focused in Mass Communications Im about to utilize it the best way possible. There are plenty military bases all around my plan is to enlist in the Army Reserve it has great benefits. Ambition over everything.
