Ok so! Its Hypothetical Thursday after all. Let your morals leave the room and answer this one honestly. We promise we wont judge, much... Ok so, your insurance lapses on your car. You just remember and head on in to pay it. You pay, and its processed but they tell you that due to it lapsing you wont be covered until the next day. As you drive out you reverse into a Mercedes and do a fair amount of damage to both cars. You recognise the car you reversed in to as belonging to the Principal of your childs school and you cant be sure someone hasnt seen what youve just done. Youre not insured and you know it. Theres no way you can afford the repair bill. Do you do a runner? Stick around and fess up? Approach the Principal and hope theyll let you lie and say it happened the next day so your insurance will cover it, but know you risk the Principal knowing youre a big fat liar and bad driver?
