Ok so Ive kept this to family, and close friends but Im ready I guess to talk about what has been going on with me. It all started last Month when I went in for my cancer checkup. My blood was abnormal, and spots were seen on my spleen when I was scanned. Well Ive been having pain in my LUQ that I thought was related to my Lapband until I went back recently for a repeat scan and the spots were bigger than previously seen. So all this week I have been getting scanned, poked, and prodded. Today I learned all my lymph nodes on my left side are swollen which explains why they have been so sore. My spleen is also enlarged which is why im having all the pain in my LUQ. The dr took 8 more vials of blood today and I have to be at the hospital tuesday evening for an advanced scan before diagnosis and a game plan is finally put into place. I was put on sulfur based antibiotics in hopes to try to reduce the swelling in my spleen. Ive been up and down with all this but bottom line is I just want to feel better. Being so wore out that all you do is move from the bed to the couch and not being able to eat, and this annoying nagging pain is no way to live. I dont want anyones sympathy. What I do ask for is your prayers. I have seen first hand what the power of prayer does. I will update when I know more.
