Ok so #RollerCon2014 day 3 (yesterday): Taught my Stuck in the Middle with You class and it was a ROUSING success! I keep getting stopped by folks who took the class or know someone who took it. Ive had at least 10 people tell me that one of my classes were their favorite of the weekend. Ive been at the Roller Derby Elite Skates booth all week and Ill be there again today so you can come down and try out the skates at open scrimmage or open skate (theres one at 9a RC people) and got to have dinner with Tony Muse and Tink. I got to drop into a bout and I also played NHL v Sports Fans. My jamming is back. I feel as strong as I did after NEDC. Highlights include getting lead 2/3 times, and getting put on my ass by Soledad Derby. After that I hit up a Black and White open scrim and got to play with guys from Denton County Outlaws and Portland Mens Roller Derby, as well as some Steel City Roller Derby and Charm City Roller Girls. Went to PODO, danced my pants off. Went to the pool, helped Raw Heidi crowd surf, hung out at the Blood & Thunder cabana for a bit... Ok so that was a general overview of day 3! Today is just getting started. DERBALIFE is taking over the Skate the Strip tonight. Be at the inflatable skate no later than 9p!!!
