Ok, so Snowflake, the toy poodle we got for my mom has been - TopicsExpress

Ok, so Snowflake, the toy poodle we got for my mom has been playing the spoiled brat emperor when it came to meals since she got here a few months ago. We went through every type and brand of food from garbage to expensive. Pilar even hand made food for her, heated it for her and even let her sit on the couch while she spoon fed the abusive midget monster. And even then, she played the spoiled brat and many times refused to eat. Brought it up to Dr. Quicks attention the other day and he said that apparently her prior owner over pampered her and she was probably used to eating people food. That wasnt going to happen here. He said we should stop being her slaves and present her with a bowl of food...dog food that is. If she doesnt want it in the morning, take it away and try it again in the evening. If she doesnt eat, take it away and present it next morning...that eventually she would get hungry enough and eat. First day she would not eat either morning or evening, BUT I found a cat doodie dragged out onto the floor near the litter box for the cats. I thought nothing of it in terms of the dog but wondered why the stupid cats would do such a dastardly deed. After all, the litter is cleaned on a daily basis and is immaculate. Maybe it was revenge for an imagined slight on their part. Stupid cats. Day two went by and Snowflake would not eat, morning or evening, but she did poop...though it was a strange poop with lots of little gas explosions shooting out from her bum. I thought it strange but let it be for the moment...maybe it was because she wasnt eating. Later that evening I saw IT. THERE WAS A CAT DOODIE DRAGGED OUT, NOT JUST IN FRONT OF THE LITTER BOX, BUT ON THE HALLWAY CARPET WITH LITTLE GNAW MARKS ON IT!!!!! The stupid dog was eating the cat crap!!!! GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! No wonder she wasnt eating the dog food and was crapping strangely! Needless to say, today after early morning litter visits for the cats and a few supervised visits by them during the day, the door to the litter room remained closed under lock and key. This morning Snowflake did not eat her dog food, probably thinking she would wait until I went downstairs to my office in order to sneak into the litter box and select a kitty treat. Heh, was she in for a surprise. This evening I put out the same exact dish with the same exact food of the last three days and she wolfed it down like the world was ending tomorrow. .....stupid dog.
