Ok, so as you all can see now, there is 5,000 following my personal page. I have made it public for all to see because I want you all to know how important it is for this number to go up. Not the number following me to go up, but the page that I will be making on this new idea to go up... Lets rewind.... There are many of you that are just now following because of this weeks events... Many of you dont know yet how SJKs page operates. Real quick... I post an idea and with the help of all my followers, we come up with something that becomes bigger then what we originally thought up through comments and discussion. My idea seems huge in my head at first, but by discussion, the outcome is way larger then the original idea. So here it is.... We all are PISSED...ANGRY.... So confused and full of outrage or hurt... No child should ever lose their life, but when you add up the statistics, childhood cancer is Beyond Ridiculous The numbers are astronomically mind blowing and quite frankly, it angers me that I didnt know this all till Lane Goodwin passed away. A 14 yr old boy from Kentucky that started me on this journey. What we need is an extremely dramatic and socially awkward display of explaining to thousands or millions just how tragic this possible death sentence is. Now that your wheels are spinning and your mind is thinking of ideas on what we can do, let me mildly tell you what Ive thought. We need a new group page. On this page we will organize what could possibly be a Flashmob type display to the world on what childhood cancer really does. The low amount of funding and the amount of children effected or killed by the monster. Picture this.... Over 1,000 of us meet at a location.. Be in St. Louis or Jefferson City (Missouri State Capital)... With media pre warned, 7 parents walk up and lay a baby doll that is wrapped in bright fabric on the ground and walk away while I explain that these 7 children will be taken by the monster today. Just then a school bus drives up with 46 parents holding a child. Each one gets off the bus and places the fake cancer kiddo on the ground as I explain 46 children will get the news today that they have the monster inside them.... As the plot thickens, a continuous line of people walk up and place a pretend child/baby on the ground until the entire amount of children that are taken each year in the United States is dramatically displayed to the media. We are talking 2,555 dolls just laying there. All bald, wrapped in bright colors with name tags on each of them with actual childrens names that lost their fight to cancer. As each person places the child on the ground that person will yell out that childs name in remembrance of that child. It will turn into a loud cluster of unheard names, but thats how some of these families feel. Unheard... At the end I would want children to actually walk out with long banners explaining the statistics and that only 4% of money given to research for cancer is spent on children. There will be hundreds of ideas shared in this post, and by your reaction and thoughts, I will then decide to make a private group pg for those that want to join this idea. I may be crazy, but I can see people be moved by this. There are thousands of details to figure out, but I think this idea is a great start. Getting 2,555 stuffed dolls might be the toughest part. But we can make it happen. As SJK would say... Discuss.....
