Ok so as you all know I like to keep it happy and light and cheery AND I also like to support local as much as I can. But I need to rant about something that happened today that left a terrible taste in my mouth. I won a $25 gift certificate before Christmas from ShopSudbury. I was instructed to select a merchant from a list. I chose Looking Good (salon, retail, tanning, etc) on the Kingsway. Id use the tanning bed, maybe purchase a little something while I was there to support them, the end. Right? Nope. The owner ( Im assuming she was the owner by her comments) insisted that she was not involved in this, yelled at me where did you get this??? and completely embarrassed me. I was horrified by her behaviour and left the store with nothing. Seriously, grow up. There are more mature AND business like ways to handle situations like these other than yelling and getting mad at the customer. Good grief!!!!
