Ok, so decided to steal a Sequins Mat from the shop (whoops, my shop should I say) and bring it home for a play. Love love love the ready made pots of Cake Lace and it took minutes to spread the mat and pop in the oven BUT I am THAT impatient that, when done just 10 minutes later- (I know - gone are the days of waiting for previous edible lace products to have to dry out overnight 😁) that I pulled it straight from the oven with my bare hands - asbestos fingers - and instead of placing it carefully on the work surface to dry (I really havent got time to do that 😳) I start spinning it around the kitchen (yep, I was actually pirouetting), holding onto 1 corner of it to speed up the cooling down period......Guess where my sequins are? Yep - all over the kitchen floor - floor looks pretty though lol.
