Ok, so firstly i would like to announce Friday (The Big Bang) as a huge success, sorry i havent got round to putting this status up yet or thanking everyone individually (which i will this week) but i needed a bit of down time. Now i say this everytime, but this event really did kill me, It took so much to put on, and the pressure of the overheads, etc. etc. really took its toll, i found myself very stressed at times on the night and leading up to the event i was unbearable to know! So the first thank you goes out to the people who not only put up with me during this time but helped get me through it (you know who you are), With all of the feedback i have had on, and since the night, seeing everyones happy faces, from the artists through to the ravers, and the sheer sense of achievement, make it yet again totally worth it. I also would like to thank BOTH teams at Hardcore Resurrection and Extreme Revolution for pulling together and making the event what it was. But in this respect a special shout has to go out to Mia Lawrence, my tails. For going the extra mile every time it was needed. Sometimes i am so caught up in this life i forget to thank or show gratitude to some people, but i can assure you the gratitude is always there. Thanks goes out to the ticket touters, artists, staff at the club, neil for the sound, shane for the equipment, my boy age for making our set such a pleasure to perform (NOT) :p all the unsung heroes that flyer, poster etc. There are so many people to thank, you all know who you are, and from the bottom of my heart i love each and every one of you, BUT the real unsung heroes, the real people to thank are the ones reading this status, the RAVERS. Trust me when i say this, i really do, do this for you. Promoting is a game of ego, and anyone who denies it is a liar, either that or they want an income out of it. Me, i work for my living, sometimes i get caught up in why do i even do this, god knows i asked myself that question enough times running up to this event, but then i was reminded, by the sheer amount of u that took time to come and thank me for the event, and the smile i see on your faces, we all need that smile. Im a raver, i will travel the country and go to raves, come home and for a little while everything is ok, because ive blown off steam, that is something i try to bring to the local ravers, and i feel like we are finally really achieving this, i wear my heart on my sleeve. It can be seen as a positive or a negative, but never mistake good intentions for weakness, i am strong, and i am here to stay, ive got your backs and i have the best intentions for you, the ravers. We will continue to make our nights unique every time, using different clubs and different artists etc. I will continue to risk my money, time and career, to rebuild this scene, I have been on a one man mission to bring the raves i love down our way, and try and change the bigger picture for the better of the ravers and the local artists, and we are getting there, Together, i put myself at great risk by bearing my heart out like this but i am in this game for this reason, and its time this movement got next level. So i am again asking for a call to arms! RAVERS OF DEVON SUPPORT US AND IN RETURN WE WILL GIVE YOU THE BEST CLUBBING EXPERIENCES THE SW HAS SEEN!
