Ok so here goes.....Ive had to really pray on this status for a few days. I woke up on Thursday knowing that God was in control and I have not veered from that notion at all. Minutes ago two wonderful friends simultaneously answered prayers when I was about to lose it. Prayer warriors putting things in perspective Oh yeah! We all know that my cea is now at a 19. After careful examination of the ct scans, they have found out that it is indeed my original tumors growing back. When the liver is totally covered like mine was, the shrinking of the tumors will leave like a ghost of where the actually tumor was. We needed to cut them out, since we could not do that back in October, they are starting to come back pretty quick. So now we have a new plan of attack that we will start in July. I will get scans again in July, then we will be using y90 radiated beads that will be injected right into the arteries in my liver one side at a time. Each injection lasts about 14 days. So for a month I will be getting a constant dose of radiation. If it wasnt for the fact that my liver function numbers are rising, we would probably keep with the lets wait and see approach. Many prayers will be needed and a lot of Faith and Hope. I will be enjoying my month of June packing for our move to wherever God has planned( our lease is up at the end of the month. Im looking for something in Hamilton so if anyone knows of cool places let me know. ) Im still healing from surgery and prob will still be when I start the radiation which will run simultaneously with the chemo in the pump.
