Ok, so here is my first yank. It was two birds with one stone. I always wanted to say I owned a small block Chevy V8 and I wanted to own an American Pickup - job done! For those who know, read past, for those who dont, its a Chevy C1500(2wd) Silversdo 350. It was lowered using drop spindles in the front and axle over leaf in the rear with the rails notched for clearance, but the bed wasnt cut. It was decked around 5/6 inch and would lay rail on the large sleeping police men :-/ the truck would return 29mpg on a run (used to do 380mile round trips between Portsmouth and North Devon) but would drop to high teens when nailing it. It had 15inch American Racing Daytona wheels with a smoothed rear Boyd Codington rear roll pan. Full window tint and ice install. This was the last of my customs as child arrived, but didnt stop me from buying the next truck :-)
